Business as usual

Our corporate services are designed to supply the full range of legal support to enable our business clients to operate efficiently and grow effectively.

We advise on all areas of business life, from the negotiation of joint venture contracts to the drafting and implementation of commercial agreements.

We can advise you on how to structure the start up of your business, and whether it is better to operate as a company or a partnership. We can help you form a company off the shelf at very low cost, or we can prepare a specific memorandum and articles of association to meet your specific needs. We recommend that we work in close liaison with your accountants, where appropriate.

We can provide all the help your company will need in order fully to comply with the requirements of the Companies Act and Companies’ House obligations.

There are many partnerships which exist in reality even though they don’t have a written partnership agreement. It is wise to have a written partnership prepared, and the best time to make one is as soon as possible after the business has formed. Differences of opinion or misunderstandings can often emerge in the process, and can be resolved with our guidance and advice – much better at this stage than later when issues can become entrenched.
